With extensive experience in product architecture from my mobile apps and deep systems engineering from my game mods, I faced the final frontier to becoming a truly full-stack force: the backend. I decided to tackle this challenge not with a small personal project, but by building a full-featured Software as a Service (SaaS) platform from the ground up, single-handedly.
This was Phase 3 of my career: The Founder's Gauntlet. The goal was to build an empire-killer, a platform that could challenge giants. In just under 60 days of relentless, 18-hour workdays, I conceived, designed, and engineered Cartovyn.
Cartovyn: A Founder's Vision
From Zero to Market-Ready SaaS in 60 Days
Cartovyn is a sophisticated platform for the Tabletop Role-Playing Game (TTRPG) community, designed for content creation, sharing, and management. It is the programmatic expression of my will—a testament to what is possible with a singular vision and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
Every component of this platform was built by me, from scratch. I did not rely on assistive dependencies or pre-built solutions, choosing instead to engineer a better, more integrated system myself.
- Product & UI/UX Design: I designed the entire user experience, from the core feature set to the final icons and interface art.
- Frontend Architecture: The client is a highly performant application built with Next.js, adhering to the strictest industry standards for web development.
- Backend & Database: The entire backend infrastructure and API were custom-built, utilizing Supabase and PostgreSQL for robust and scalable data management.
- Infrastructure & Deployment: The platform is hosted on Cloudflare, leveraging its powerful network for global delivery and security.
Cartovyn stands as a beacon of my technical principles: absolute adherence to industry best practices, a fanatical focus on the separation of concerns, and an architecture built on a single source of truth. It is the culmination of my life's work and experience.
What's Next? New Game Plus.
Immediately after launching Cartovyn, I built this very portfolio you are reading now in just a few days. The next project on the horizon is a full-featured e-commerce platform.
I have already accomplished every goal I set out to achieve when I began this journey. Now, I'm just playing on New Game Plus—continuing to build, innovate, and solve the next significant challenge that captures my interest. The road ahead is open.
